I work on the Actuarial team whose main responsibilities include support for product launches, provision of month-end accounting reports, unit-pricing, trading support, policy-level production support and a Data Integrity function. As a member of the Actuarial team I have a unique oversight of all activities on a policy and product from start to finish so I am ideally placed to; answer queries, design code solutions, resolve issues and support a wide range of external and internal departments. My main responsibilities include developing and building good client relationships, setting up and implementing new products, working with IT to improve system functionality, automating our business processes and delivering operational excellence. I am currently working extensively on the migration of Swiss Life group’s high net worth unit linked business to IPSI’s front and back office systems.

Worked as a Trainee Actuary in Irish Life on the Corporate Business Product Development and Annuities team. I was responsible for quoting for large corporate firms for Life insurance benefits such as Term Life Assurance and Income Protection. This involved constant communication with external brokers and internal Accounting Managers, running and sending out large quotes and working on numerous projects.
