I was tasked with managing 102 teams for the Light The Night walk, and directly recruited and coached the Houston Law Review team to raise $5,000. I recruited entertainment for the Houston walk, and also ensured that our accounting room was reserved and secured. I recruited entertainment for the Houston walk, and also ensured that our accounting room was reserved and secured. At The Woodlands walk, I accounted for over $13,000 raised at the event itself and ensured its safe delivery to other staff for further processing. I spearheaded the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter's Burlington Coat Factory retail campaign, which included numerous store visits with managers and cashiers; my pep talks, volunteer recruitment, data recording, strategic planning, phone conversations, incentive deliveries and relationship building led to over $95,000 in revenue from the Burlington campaign alone. Combined with over $76,000 raised by walker teams that I managed and worked with, my efforts as an intern contributed $173,000 to the local Houston chapter of LLS. I was hired on as part-time staff following the fall walk season and worked on strategic planning for future retail campaigns and the May 2017 corporate breakfasts.
