Tutor | Research Assistant | Producer of Educational Internet Videos | Social Media Content Manager Working at the Research and Writing Center was a wonderful opportunity to create the center's first YouTube channel. As a visual/auditory learner myself I noticed the lack of media content for students first-hand. Considering my background in broadcast journalism I wanted to supplement our work with handouts by producing short videos that explained everyday topics in Academic Writing. Without funding and in my free time, I created online grammar videos for our students. As a result of these videos, and the general fascination of using media to enrich the learning environment, I was selected to speak at two conferences.
