Tutor | Research Assistant | Producer of Educational Internet Videos | Social Media Content Manager Working at the Research and Writing Center was a wonderful opportunity to create the center's first YouTube channel. As a visual/auditory learner myself I noticed the lack of media content for students first-hand. Considering my background in broadcast journalism I wanted to supplement our work with handouts by producing short videos that explained everyday topics in Academic Writing. Without funding and in my free time, I created online grammar videos for our students. As a result of these videos, and the general fascination of using media to enrich the learning environment, I was selected to speak at two conferences. One of them being hosted by the European Association of Teaching Academic Writing (EATAW) in Tallinn, Estonia in 2015.2015 EATAW, Tallinn, Estoniapresentations:"Online Videos as a Tool for Writing Instruction""Motivation and Self-Efficacy" 2013 Peer-Tutoring-Conference, Bochumworkshops: "Media Competence - Internet Videos as a Tool for Teaching""“We Are On A Mission!” - Mission Statements: Collaborative Reproduction of Writing Centers"

Radio Journalist | Producer | Host As part of my job as a radio journalist, I got to host live radio shows and conduct interviews on-air.Every new radio show is a new thrill especially thanks to wonderful guests. As a radio station with a focus on science (70% reports/30% music), there is a lot more to content creation than just playing songs. Uniradio Tübingen strives to keep its audience informed about the latest scientific findings.

Radio Journalist | Producer | HostWhat does preparing a radio program teach you? Write concise and be a great story teller. It is a pleasure to write your own program, but a truly rewarding experience is to be the producer for a host who trusts you to make his program stand out. My style is to always keep it informative but entertaining for the listener.
