Sabarmati Gas Limited (April 2023 - June 2023) Position: Internal Auditor (O&M Department) During my internship at Sabarmati Gas Limited, I had the opportunity to work as an Internal Auditor in the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) department. In this role, I was responsible for conducting internal audits in accordance with the guidelines set by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB). One of my key achievements during the internship was successfully completing audits such as the TCPA-MRS audit, DRS audit, and T4S documents audit. These audits involved analyzing and evaluating various operational processes and documentation to ensure compliance and adherence to regulatory standards. In addition to my auditing responsibilities, I actively engaged in learning and gaining knowledge about various aspects of the natural gas industry. I acquired a solid understanding of CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) and gas pricing mechanisms, enabling me to grasp the intricacies of the industry and contribute effectively to the team. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to familiarize myself with the Geographic Information System (GIS) system utilized by Sabarmati Gas Limited. This exposure enhanced my technical skills and provided me with valuable insights into how GIS is leveraged for efficient planning and management of gas distribution networks. Overall, my internship at Sabarmati Gas Limited offered me a comprehensive experience in internal auditing within the O&M department, along with valuable exposure to CNG, gas pricing, and GIS systems.
