Optional program offered by IES La Garrotxa in the last summer of High School. My tasks where, among other things, to control the quality of the water returned to the river after being used in the paper fabrication process. I chose this paper manufacturing, eco-friendly company because I liked the idea of working with a chemichal engineer because at that time I still didn't know that to study and chemistry related degrees were the most attractive to me. During the stay, it surprised me how engaged they were as a company to keep the process as green as possible, using renewable energy, saving resources and reusing the vapor steam for the drying stage.
