Acting Lead in Scrum Team, I share the responsibility of maintaining and enhancing a Web Application that provides communication between Dealerships and Lenders across Canada. Within the team, I am the Technical Point of Contact for all matters under our charter. My daily responsibilities include developing software enhancements, new features, bug fixes, process improvements, troubleshooting/debugging, documentation and communication with clients. Day to day technology use is mainly within the .Net Framework using Webforms and MVC and PL/SQL on the Database side. For source code management, GitHub is used with enforced Branching and Pull Requests to mitigate risks when new code is added. On a Cross Environment Deployment perspective, I have experience experience with Jenkins, customizing and troubleshooting groovy scripts when needed. I am also a member of the Community of Practice committee, responsible for sharing work relevant knowledge between teams - not only on the organizational aspect but also as a presenter. I am passionate about learning and teaching (I work as a volunteer teacher as an extra curricular activity), which allied with very good communication skills make me very approachable and effective team member. This also helps me to bridge and translate business needs into technical requirements.
