Additionally, created an after school girls group that utilizes restorative justice and conflict mediation techniques to promote social-emotional learning among students, furthering mentorship capacity. Gained leadership experience through the organization of a 4 day training on issues of food justice and urban sustainability in the Denver community. Elected member of the Corps Council, which serves as the liaison between Denver site and the national corps, as well as plans and executes large-scale events.
