IT Business Analyst SR
-
Dec 2016 - Present
In December 2016, I became a state employee with the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) Information Technology (IT) Division. I joined TDOT IT as an IT Business Analyst SR on the Product Implementation Team which is a cross-functional team consisting of a variety of roles. We work in an agile and team collaborative environment. I am currently performing a business process analysis of existing TDOT grant management processes across several divisions who all manage state and federal grants. I will be documenting detailed processes and producing diagrams for each division and, then, performing analysis to determine whether these multiple divisions have enough commonality to benefit from an enterprise-level grant management system. I will be presenting this final analysis in an executive summary at the end of this project. I am excited to be part of a great team in TDOT IT. Our IT Business Analysts have our own BA Team which I am equally excited to be a part of. We work closely with the IT Product Owners, IT Project Managers and the Business Units. TDOT IT has many talented and innovative individuals, both in IT and the Business Units. A lot of new technologies and innovations are emerging at TDOT every day. I am proud to have been selected to be part of everything going on at TDOT! Show less
