Ariel is an excellent mentor and trainer. She took the opportunity to train and explain things in great detail. She offers a hands on training experience and is always patient, informative and kind. She was my go to for all HRIS inquiries for Ceridian/Dayforce.

My entry into the Health Care world, supporting the the HRIS system for Human Capital Management for the company, which provides the products of Davis Vision and Superior Vision -Support Ceridian Dayforce with the powerful Client Administrator role *System Administration, including HR Imports, Users, Roles, Data Management Center *Org Setup, including Job and Organization *HR Admin, configuration as required, trouble shooting and maintaining the integrity of the data *Workflow Administration, including Management, Designer, and Form Builder *Set up Performance cycle for Mid-year check-in and year end Performance Review *Onboarding and Recruiting; integration with HireRight background screening *Timesheet, Time Away from Work, Balances, Holiday calendars *Reporting as requested by HR team and others *Support Benefits when needed *Moved the Temporary and contract workers from an Excel Spreadsheet into Dayforce, and ongoing loads, created procedure to address compliance concerns *Completed HRIS training module Other activities: -Filed EEO reporting -Perform many rigorous audits - the standards are high in Health Care Soft skills: 1) Have built excellent relationships with members on the HR team. Since my position and that of many others is fully remote, this was a bit more challenging than being in an office environment, but I feel that I have succeeded well in this regard. 2) When I came to the company, there was no handover from the previous HRIS team, who left a few months before my arrival. I had to learn on my own (my manager was equally new to the company) many skills, processes, and tasks very quickly. I feel I rose to the challenge and became a solid contributor to the HR community. I enjoy the accomplishment of mastering new skills and tasks and working on process improvement. Show less

      • Apr 1996 - Mar 1999

*Started in SAP HR at the ground floor, prior to the initial roll out to Schlumberger *Training and Documentation requirements for HR were greatly underestimated, so my 'team' (consisting of just myself) wrote more documentation than other teams, such as Finance, who had 3 members) *Our documentation conformed to strict standards taught to us by a documentation company *After documentation came training to hundreds of new users. Taught courses in transactions, reporting, and SAP HR for managers. Training schedule was intense, 5 days a week, 7 hours per day, for months *As system went live, added in system support to users, and also testing as new functionalities were introduced. *Attended SAP Training courses in Dallas and California. Learned a lot, and the trips were fun too! Show less
