The task was to make a commitment together with the project team and complete the on-going projects in order to make room for new ones and to achieve the planned projected savings. I was responsible for attuning and achieving the project end goal, implementation of the proposed resource, material, or design changes. In this she had to deal with international project teams consisting, production, development team, product management and purchasing. In addition, the mentioned locks don’t work independently; they are always part of a door system, by which the development depends on co-operation of several locks providing conflicting demands. I was responsible for translating the technical and commercial needs from draft to a certified lock. In these projects I was responsible for the following tasks: - Organization of brainstorm sessions with various disciplines (communication design/design /Marketing) within the development team. - Develop/defined technical specifications from the different packaging components in a.o. CAD, with the objective of quotations, communication and commercial presentation. - Managing and composing of the BOM (Bill of Materials) in collaboration with purchasing and suppliers a.o. Indonesia. - Directing of CAD development, start up of the first proto-series and reviewing them on technical aspects. - Coordination release testing (including transport, drop, climate, UV), processing information from these tests to improvement proposal for product and production process.
