Nate is a fantastic designer. He is a great leader, motivator, supporter, friend, and mentor. Aside from Monetization Design and Game Development, which he is exceptional in, he has additional experience outside of the gaming industry which gives him a unique and smart perspective when solving problems. He built a fantastic culture on the MTX team at BGS, and developed processes with scale and longevity in mind. He is not afraid of calling out issues where they lie for the betterment of his team's health and for the quality of the game. I have learned so much from him in the short time I have known him, and I hope to work with him again.

As a Monetization Designer, I consider Nate to be one of the best in the world. His services are invaluable at BCS and ZeniMax, and a number of teams (internal and external) lean on him regularly to perfect their monetization plans and models. However, listing him as a Monetization Designer sells short his other skillsets. He is also a great Systems Designer with a major talent toward social systems and helping to defend the user. Expect Nate to be a staunch proponent of the player on any project. He will make his objections known and you will want him to, as they will always be informed and well thought out. As a designer, Nate is one that is always doing his homework, staying in touch with data, and willingly sharing that with the team.
