Starting up a Mac user group at the University campus, registered as a "non-profit, religious organization"!We were a couple of guys setting up the infrastructure (office, mailing lists, etc.) needed to get a group of students up-and-going to develop and doodle with Apple products.The group was fast growing, and we eventually approached Apple and set up University deals for Apple products, and were invited to attend Apples Word Wide Developer Conference in San Francisco for the initial release of the iPhone. We went as a group with students and lecturers from the University, and had a great time networking with Apple developers worldwide. Some new dedicated students gradually took over organizing the group, as we (the initial founders) completed our degrees at the University.
