Campus was losing $160,000 per month when I took over; break even came in 22 months. The school is currently earning 12%+. Bettered audit score by 33%. Increased customer and employee satisfaction 40% and 15% respectively, even as our campus was up for sale and we reduced staff. The Long Beach campus is the 3rd largest (of 120) in the US. I became the turnaround guy for the campus - moving in quick succession through Admissions and Career Services. Managed Admissions team of 15, improved sales productivity and hired a new Director of Admissions. Did the same thing in Career Services - increased our ranking from 27th to 10th in 6 months and the new Director of Career Services I hired is now the Division VP for Career Services. I partnered with business Owners to dramatically improve operating performance - primarily profits and cash flow. Leveraged my MBA from UCLA, 25+ years of experience and keen understanding of both numbers and people, I identified the key metrics driving business success, pinpointed and executed the key actions that yielded the highest impact results. Over eight years, started as a Regional Manager, was promoted to General Manager, and finally became Vice President. As VP increased profitable North American franchises from 35% to 65%, in only eighteen months. As General Manager turned around a failing campus in 9 months. As Regional Manager focused on increasing enrollments, then switched to increasing profitability and cash flow during the dot.com bust.
