Flat out, I would recommend Matt for any job, any where, any time. The guy is a rock star. In my time at FanDuel, no one did more on a day to day basis to make my job possible than Matt. He did everything - things in his job description and out. He'd work extra hours. He'd work extra hard. He never, ever failed and never, ever complained. He's exactly the kind of talent and kind of person you want on your team. I could tell story after story about things he's done and things he could do, but if you'd like to hear them, call me, because I would love to tell the stories and see Matt get the kind of opportunities he deserves.

Matt proved to be one of the hardest working and motivated editors that I have had the privilege of working with during my tenure with FanSided. His passion for the game of baseball and his desire to showcase that through his writing are virtually incomparable. During his time as the Senior Editor for Rising Apple he demonstrated numerous characteristics of being an effective leader. Matt recruited, trained, and led a talented group of writers. He drove the group's collective efforts to increase traffic to the site with consistent and efficient communication while continuously demonstrating what he asked of his staff through his actions. His desire to produce high levels of high quality content was a positive addition to our team and one that any organization should value. Matt was a pleasure to work with and I'd welcome the opportunity to do so again.

I'm the founder of MLB Daily Dingers, which is a website and Twitter page dedicated to celebrating MLB's home run history seven days a week. Our time on social media is spent looking back on and remembering random (and not-so-random) home runs from the past. The blog was created with the goal of becoming a written and visual library of MLB's home run history. If you're looking for details on certain career performances, single-season efforts, details on Home Run Derby history, or postseason history, this is the place to find it.

I work with 30–60 students—most of whom are juniors and seniors—to help them find and apply to the right colleges for them. Here are some of the things we help high schoolers with throughout the college admission process:Build a realistic and intelligent college list based upon the student's academic qualifications as well as their personal qualifications for a university (location, campus environment, intended major, and more).Review and refine the student's course selection, standardized testing calendar, and extracurricular activities. Brainstorm all application essays and short answers, ensuring that students are choosing the topics that will produce the most genuine and strongest possible essays.Edit and proofread to ensure the student is submitting the best essays and applications.Research and identify extracurricular and summer activities, along with internship opportunities. For students interested in playing college athletics, I help them throughout the entire recruitment process. This includes initial outreach to coaches to figuring out which official visits they should go on. Also authored Collegewise's first Athletic Recruiting guide. Strategize the best approach to early admissions programs to maximize the chance for admission.
