Analyzed the quality and applicability of published mosquito species distribution models (also known as ecological niche models, habitat suitability models, bioclimatic envelopes, or resource selection functions) to manage mosquito populations as measured by four levels of best practice standards across 15 criteria by meta-analysis to provide recommendations for improved quality and applicability. Evaluated species distribution model accuracy to interpret and predict the distribution of a mosquito when response data was limited to geopolitical centroids. Three hundred different methods were considered and compared by 42 evaluations to determine how accurate methods were and which is best suited to the interpretation of geopolitical centroids. Analyzed the source and destination pressure of red-eared slider turtles introduction in Yunnan province, China by independent origin- and destination-specific gravity models from geo-coded surveys. Related chemical structure of over 10,000 pharmaceuticals and environmental pollutants to determine their negative effects on 226 aspects of fish neurology and reproduction by a diverse ensemble of machine learning methods. Machine learning results were validated by lab testing. Integration of new northern occurrences and winter survival analysis of the Golden mussel to determine risk of high latitude distribution in Asia and the Laurentian Great Lakes by species distribution models.
