Within the Support role, I provided support in the Production environment; analyzing and correcting issues, providing user guidance and training. Due to the level of experience gained, I was offered the role of “Support Manager”, but had to turn it down due to conflicting project commitments. I have performed a variety of roles within in the Project Lifecycle, these being; Project Manager, Business & Systems Analyst, Programmer (using Natural Adabas and JCL) and Tester. The investment bank products, which I have supported, are Interest Rate Derivatives, Forward Rate Agreements, & Interest Rate Options. The areas of business I have supported are Accounting, Settlements, Trade Capture, Confirmations, and Reconciliation’s. Due to the global nature of our client base (North & South America, Asia and Europe), I engaged in Overnight Support for the various time zones’ batches and online days.
