Patricia O'Sullivan

Dear application evaluators, Emma Sullivan worked on the Every Learner Everywhere (everylearnereverywhere.org) team as a student intern from February 1, 2023 - April 28, 2023. Our internships are 12-week terms during which a small cohort of undergraduate students work both independently and collaboratively on special projects under the supervision of the Content Manager and the Communications Manager. Student interns also provide our network with thought leadership on the student collegiate experience through taking part in interviews, student panels on webinars and at live conferences, and in focus-group style conversations on topics of interest to our network. During her 12 weeks with us, Emma analyzed over 30 institutional academic continuity plans, ranking them on fourteen different criteria. This research is the backbone of a forthcoming report from the network, Leveraging Digital Learning in Times of Academic Disruption: A Guide for Academic Leaders. In addition to this work, Emma reviewed and contributed to The Impact of Digital Learning on Minoritized and Poverty-Affected College Students: A Literature Review. Emma also interviewed leaders at Georgia State University as background research for an upcoming profile of Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) and emerging HSIs. We featured Emma in a blog post
