Bio
Kory Kessel
Laurent was the first manager at Scality, and I attribute my smooth transition and early success to his guidance, his patience, and to his understanding of the company's documentation landscape. In particular, Laurent very much impressed me with his strong and sustained effort to keep unnecessary distractions, side requests, etc. out of my path, which allowed me to focus on getting up-to-speed and completing my work, well and on time (perhaps my highest criteria for a manager). As my manager, Laurent showed true concern for my well-being, as it applied to my work and on a personal level as well (and this continues to be the case today, too, now well over a year since the re-organization that shifted Scality's Technical Publications group away from Laurent's oversight). All of that said, I find it dead-easy to recommend Laurent as a manager and colleague, and I would gladly work for and with him again in the future.
Vilho Raatikka
I became to know Laurent while I was working as a technical specialist in an integration project of Solid HSB, and Sun NHAS. Laurent lead the technical part of the project on Sun's side. From the first moment of our co-operation, he showed his strong technical knowledge, his high motivation, and commitment to our common goals. That, combined with his open and social personality, made working with him easy, and enjoyable. Laurent is energetic, ambitious and curious; a kind of a colleague who's good to have nearby.
