Selected projects include: • Harmonization of historical and current shipping data and creation of data visualizations in Tableau for the Reproductive Health Interchange for the Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition. • Analyzed DHS data to produce estimates of sources of family planning methods for FP2020 countries. STATA coding included aggregation of data, generation of excel output with controls for missing and low-n data. Created Excel workbook with formulas to output final tables strictly from raw input from STATA code. • Contributed to development of Excel self-assessment tool for use in identifying gaps in performance areas and providing recommendations for areas of improvement for MSI’s global outreach facilities. • Cleaned and analyzed household and market trader survey data for agricultural-focused respondents in Mali. • Analyzed call center data to examine users and providers of menstrual regulation medication in Bangladesh and to test the impact of the introduction of a new medication for MR. • Analyzed DHS survey data to test accuracy of recall responses versus current use responses. STATA coding included analysis and automation programming to loop over all survey data publicly available controlling for individual survey idiosyncrasies. Generated Excel tool for Health Systems Strengthening Impact Estimation. • Analyzed baseline data for two companion household surveys examining determinants of intention to use contraception among women as part of a four-arm, quasi-experimental impact evaluation in the Punjab province of Pakistan.

  Provided research, analysis, support, and in-country project management for randomized controlled trial evaluations of various development projects. • Mumuadu Rural Bank (MRB) Labeled Savings Account project: Complete management of the implementation of two surveys (n=2,162 and n=3,033), including management tasks, instrument design, piloting, oversight of a 25 person field team, data collection and cleaning, STATA coding for sample selection and randomization for treatment selection, partner relations, budgeting, and controlling all financial activity. Other project tasks included conducting qualitative field interviews of bank customers and synthesizing results into a process evaluation report. • MRB: Conducted a cost-benefit analysis of the intervention’s impact on the Bank’s key financial activities. • Offset Savings Account project: In-country lead for feasibility stage of project to determine possible study design, sample size, and available data, including liaising with implementing partner and Principle Investigators and conducting exploratory focus group interviews. • Savings Conference: Organized a conference on recent research on savings in Ghana. Arranged all logistics by working with local and US based IPA staff and University of Ghana - Legon staff for a one day conference attended by approximately 100 people.

  • Justice Reinvestment at the Local Level (JRLL): Oversaw general efforts with key stakeholders in Allegheny County through organization of bi-weekly conference calls, technical assistance, and development and provision of tools used to estimate program impacts. Oversaw an inline organizational survey in Allegheny County, including construction of ~1,000 person sample contact list, administration of the online survey, upkeep of contact list, and targeted e-mailing to increase response rate. Cleaned survey response data for three project sites and analyzed in SPSS to generate descriptive statistics and test for significant differences between different respondent characteristics and between baseline and inline responses. Wrote reports on findings and disseminated among project sites. • What Works Library: Assisted with development of a library of prisoner reentry programs. Included assistance in the development of a coding sheet for ranking eligibility of potential evaluations and coding of evaluations. • Youth Environment Survey: Recruited eligible youth in a low-income neighborhood to complete a survey informing a social network analysis related to local youth activity with a goal of 200 respondents. Included door-to-door canvassing, follow-up phone calls, and overseeing those taking the computer-based survey. • Early Disposition Programs (EDP): Built a panel dataset of states with EDPs which included variables indicating presence of such programs and relevant characteristics of criminal justice systems. Used a difference-in-difference model and STATA to test for possible program effects. • Used ArcGIS in several projects in generating maps to display the following: home foreclosures and housing market index risk scores in 5 metropolitan areas, prisoner reentry destinations and social services usage in Travis County, TX, and gang related crime incidences within GRYD and Friday Night Light zones in Los Angeles, CA.
