I have worked with him for about 2 years now and he's shown an amazing capability for learning new skills and adapting to the task at hand. In addition to getting his required work finished, he has demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond, often collaborating with other team members to make extra improvements to the games. It’s rare that you meet someone as "unbelievably efficient as Jacopo is. Jacopo was hired onto the programming team at Clockwork Fox Studios, and during this two year time he's been nothing short of a pleasure to work with. He is an extremely hard working professional that is able to overcome any obstacle that is thrown at him. If there is a challenge, Jacopo will find the resources needed to create a solution. I’ve always had an admiration for Jacopo’s ability to brighten a room with his personality. In this B2B project a human must be tracked by 4 Kinects to provide a full 360° freedom to let him to move without any space or direction limitation (obviously excluding the kinects camera range). Any movement is tracked in realtime and rendered into the Vuzix Eyewear. To go beyond the 1 kinect limitation on a single PC, i wrote two application. The first one for the server that lets to use 1 kinect (the front) the track the player and render the scene to the display. The second one for the clients (3, left side, back side, right side) to provide their kinect tracking and send the coordinates to the server through a socket based protocol in LAN. In that way i go over the the SDK limitation that cannot let you to track the player concurrently with over one kinect. Show less
