  My articles and essays have appeared in Vox, Pacific Standard, Entropy, Essay Daily, Newsday/New York Newsday, The Writer, The Huffington Post, Time Out New York, Men’s Health and House Beautiful, among many others. Wrote restaurant reviews for a guide published by Slow Food USA. Also published stories in trade journals like Electrical World and in small magazines, including City Limits. Provided supplemental research for author Michael Capuzzo for his book, "Close to Shore," about a series of shark attacks in New York and New Jersey in the summer of 1916. Tracked down lost newspaper articles, journals by a naturalist at the Museum of Natural History, and the fate of the man who ultimately killed the shark. Copy edited The Cynopsis, a daily e-newsletter for the television industry, circulation 50,000, in 2005-06; also served as Managing Editor for the harvard.net.news, published daily during Harvard’s Conference on the Internet and Society.
