Regional Manager
-
Oct 2009 - Oct 2014
Gaining an internal promotion from Business Development Manager to Regional Manager ensured I had a strong understanding and knowledge of the business and the key clients. In my new role however I became responsible for managing a team of sales surveyors, admin staff and technicians from two branches based in Leeds and Teesside. Key object outcomes of the role were to grow the business across the North of England by increasing revenue with our existing clients whilst managing and leading the development of new clients and specifiers. Increasing brand identity throughout the region through development meetings, sales presentations and RIBA accredited CPD seminars and identifying new routes to market for existing and developmental products and services.

Business Development Manager

Jul 2008 - Oct 2009
A new position identified by the senior management to increase the portfolio of clients serviced by Peter Cox and also ensure key accounts were maintained. Initially working across the North of England the success I had in the role increased my remit to one of a National role, selling specialist technical construction products to specifiers, such as architects/Q.S.'s and contractors at all levels from purchasing manager to boardroom. Efficient at arranging and presenting CPD seminars to key clients identified by a strategic and structured sales approach I managed to exceed expectations leading to my promotion within the organisation.

Sales and Business Development Manager
-
Oct 2002 - Sep 2004
Initially selling remotely over the phone from a base in Wakefield to a market in the South East of England I developed strong sales skills in the fast pace recruitment sector placing medical staff in hospitals and surgeries throughout London. The position quickly evolved requiring more face to face sales and development presentations due to the saturated nature of the market. I quickly developed field sales and networking skills as well as spending 2 days a week in the office directing and managing sales over the phone.
