Designing, managing and delivering innovative, future-focused and student-centred Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) projects to bring about more sustainable and equitable economies and societies that can protect and restore our planet. For example:• Climate Commission for COP27: working with change-maker students from the UK and Egypt to help universities engage with communities threatened by climate change.• Green Game Jam: setting up a fast-paced multidisciplinary team competition to design the working prototype of a video game, app or VR experience addressing a sustainability challenge within 36 hours.• Global Summer School: Redesigning and facilitating the delivery of our online global summer school program 'The Transformational Leader and the Sustainable Development Goals' for students all over the world.• Supporting the development and assessment of innovative course modules with sustainability education and ESD competencies at the core, such as Sustainable Childhoods at the Institute of Education, or the 3-year Collab module for Joint Honours in the School of Arts and Humanities.• Sustainability Solutions Week: Facilitating the organisation, delivery and evaluation of a challenge week where students worked in multidisciplinary teams to practically address various sustainability challenges presented by local industry partners.• Inspire Leaders initiative: Designing and delivering challenge-based UN SDGs 11-12 workshops to primary and secondary school pupils, and providing their teachers with global competence development resources.

Working independently and collaboratively to develop curricula, teaching materials and web content for a range of Academic English courses. Delivering Academic English workshops to international masters students, mainly from Nottingham Business School, including MBA and professional students. Conducting individual and group tutorials face-to-face and online for international masters students to help them understand their module assessment and thesis briefs, support their completion process, and meet the expectations of their desired marking grade. Preparing and delivering staff training workshops in different Schools to improve the international student experience, engagement and attainment. Championing the inclusion of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Academic English provision and completing 'Carbon Literacy Training' to inform my teaching practice.Chairing a multi-disciplinary special interest group, Design Thinking in Education, organising events for staff to explore and use this method to: practically contribute to the SDGs, develop an enabling mindset, and take empowered action for sustainable futures.
