I was in charge of the Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) project under the Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) department. This position had taught me the basics of program management and the project cycle. Also, I was trained on the key concepts of DRR and attained its practical knowledge by delivering a few projects. Implementing these projects had also given me invaluable experience in the humanitarian sector. Not only that, I was also involved in the School Preparedness Programme (SPP) aiming to increase awareness of disaster preparedness amongst school children. As of 1st May 2016, I was relocated to the Projects Development and Operations Department specifically in the Programme Planning desk. There, I am in charge of conducting any emergency or initial assessments for gaps in humanitarian aid and to design its subsequent project implementation plan and proposal.Towards the end of 2016, I was made the focal person for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) programming in the organisation. I am involved in the whole project cycle for MHPSS projects in various countries.

My job role was to teach primary and a few secondary school students Mathematics and English. Teaching consists of collaboratively solving the errors produced after marking the students' finished worksheets. Not only that, teaching also entails motivating the students through performance recognition. My job role was to teach primary and a few secondary school students Mathematics and English.
