      I was in charge of the Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) project under the Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) department. This position had taught me the basics of program management and the project cycle. Also, I was trained on the key concepts of DRR and attained its practical knowledge by delivering a few projects. Implementing these projects had also given me invaluable experience in the humanitarian sector. Not only that, I was also involved in the School Preparedness Programme (SPP) aiming to increase awareness of disaster preparedness amongst school children.As of 1st May 2016, I was relocated to the Projects Development and Operations Department specifically in the Programme Planning desk. There, I am in charge of conducting any emergency or initial assessments for gaps in humanitarian aid and to design its subsequent project implementation plan and proposal.Towards the end of 2016, I was made the focal person for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) programming in the organisation. I am involved in the whole project cycle for MHPSS projects in various countries.
