He has very strong skills in HW board design for embedded systems, with excellent discipline in DO-178B process. I've seen Glenn work with a cool head under tough project schedules, solve complicated signal integrity problems, lead a team of HW designers, provide guidance to junior engineers, and listen to the ideas his peers presented. •July 2021 : Designed and built an image quality testing lab. •Nov. 2018 : named supervisor for the newly created FPGA design team •Wrote scripts to implement the FPGA build process on a Jenkins build server. •Implemented the use of a company FPGA IP library •Designed the video processing FPGA (Zynq Ultrascale+) for the Intellishot ePTZ camara •Designed the FPGA (Xilinx Artix-7) for the OneLINK Bridge product. Integrated and modified existing Vaddio IP for video processing and designed (Verilog) modules for parsing and creating TDM I2S audio streams. •Designed the FPGA (Xilinx Zynq-7000) for the RoboShot HD-SDI camera. Integrated Xilinx's 3G SDI core for High Definition SDI video output and an off the shelf H.264 core for IP streaming. •Designed the FPGA (Altera Cyclone V) for the AV Bridge Matrix Pro product. The FPGA design included a NIOSII embedded processor. Integrated and modified existing Vaddio IP for video processing and designed (Verilog) several other custom logic modules. The Cyclone V hard memory controller was utilized to interface to DDR memory that was used as video frame buffering. •Designed the FPGA (Altera Cyclone III) for the Quick Connect USB product. The FPGA design included an embedded NIOSII processor. The device initialized the input video decoders and HDMI transmitter and routed video data to the streaming and HDMI output channels.
