EFI was a specialized lending subsidiary of Bank of Lancaster County (Sterling Financial Corp., parent) that experienced a crippling fraud scheme in April 2007. All prior employees were terminated and management assigned 15 employees from all over the BLC market to take over the company. Mission was to collect out the portfolio in any way possible. Involved significant restructuring of loans and equipment reposessions. Significant progress was made in 2 years, and management began reducing the number of employees. Hence, my displacement. Prior to that, I worked in the Correspondent Services Group of Sterling Financial Corp., traveling around the state of PA, calling on senior. management of community banks. Our services involved selling some of Sterling's services involving the investment of a bank's securities portfolio, trading fed. funds, selling/buying commercial loan participations, and trust services. Most of my career, however, was focused in commercial lending activities and relationship management, mostly in the middle market segment.
