It is hard not to recommend Stefano as a colleague or as a manager. Bright, always on, with a light touch. He is an excellent networker, curious and organised. Vastly knowledgeable on social aspects and impacts of ICTs. A pleasure to work with, hopefully there will be other occasions in the future.

Created and directed this new Area within Ervet during about 4 years. In this period we applied for and ran several EU-funded projects (about a travel planner for local public transport; the use of digital signatures; a geo-web site for the promotion/attraction of foreign investors to Emilia-Romagna). We also had a key role in the design of the first Telematics Plan of Emilia-Romagna Regional administration, launched at the end of 1999.
