Main achievements: · Acquisition from NSN Helsinki of the know-how on the architecture of the new Femto Gateway Network Element and successful training of a group of designers for the development in Milan of one of its main modules · As above, with consequent training in a very short time of a group of designers for the development of all the software for the management of the physical level of a new, digital, high- integration SDH/DH transport unit to be included in the already existing architecture of the switchboard · Creation under a stringent time limit of a new System Integration group to run both functional and performance tests on the same module ­ technical training of all the involved resources · Integration by my group in Milan, within the foreseen short schedule, of one of the main features (signalling channel management) required by this module. Main achievements: · Responsibility for final testing of a military packet switching node for the Italian Army: after a long process of project development and installation, the system passed the field test and the transmission network became a model of efficiency, held up as an example of reliability by the customer to its other suppliers · Preparation and instruction of a specialized technical course on a military switching system developed by Italtel, for use by the operators and officers of the Italian Armed Forces responsible for the system · Coordination of the entire test program of a geographical network for L-16 datalink simulation for the Italian Air Force. The complex final testing was passed successfully: the network was used during international exercises (SIMPLE DEMO) in the NATO environment · Acquisition in a very short time of the know-how needed to manage development of the L-16 flight terminal simulator for an Italian Air Force aircraft.
