  Fort Indiantown Gap TLs interact directly with Cadets during their 22-week residential phase at the academy. Each platoon of Cadets has multiple TLs assigned to it for 24/7 coverage. TLs guide and train Cadets using military principles and practices in a quasi-military environment. They provide the safe, secure, and structured environment for the Cadets.
