Solution Developer at Analytics@IBM

- I worked as a full-stack developer on PaaS applications on an IBM Cloud platform, creating IBM internal applications with cognitive components in NodeJS, Express framework and dynamic data visualizations using D3 JS library. Most recent project involved creating a web-based tool to validate records for different sets of user roles.- For 10 months I worked as a developer on a financial platform, bringing in data from different sources and co-creating the structure of a dimensional model to allow a single point of access to data needed for financial analysis and reporting. By the end of 2017 I moved to a team developing cloud data architecture which allowed us to effectively migrate the existing financial reporting platform to cloud, in order to analyse current data flow, prepare SQLs and to rewrite transformation logic. Technologies used include the Scala and Spark framework.- My past responsibilities include providing traditional business intelligence solutions using enterprise-wide and self-service tools, assisting in data modelling. I also covered part of EDA and pattern findings of internal data and its comprehensible visualization; experience in Python to create scripts to automate small jobs- Demonstrating the results of my work has taught me to prepare for open discussions on my findings, and to effectively put the feedback I received into practice.
