I first connected with Slater when he was working for a staffing agency in Pennsylvania. At the time, he jumped into hosting and attending a few of the veteran/military focused 'meet and greets' that I coordinated under a non-profit called Veterans Resource Central. These were monthly opportunities to connect with not only veterans and current military personnel, but we did open them to military spouses as well. Today, Slater led a web based presentation as part of Disability:IN Pennsylvania's monthly discussions called Tuesday Talks. He was fantastic and offered up some great takeaways that I hadn't know before. During this presentation, I could see that Slater still had passion and a genuine commitment to our military personnel and veterans. Be sure to check out his presentation from today... https://ahedd.adobeconnect.com/pn4r1nou6yeq/ . He's a gem with a lot of knowledge to share.

Slater and I worked together on the Talent Acquisition team at Schneider Electric for about 2 years. Slater was always very competent and professional when dealing with business matters. He built the military recruiting program at Schneider from the ground up and made a great impact on the overall recruiting department with his efforts. He has a passion for military recruiting and it truly shows in his work.
