I hold a dual role as an Accountant and HR professional, where I have the privilege of overseeing various crucial aspects of the club's financial and human resources management. As the Accountant, my primary responsibilities revolve around managing receivables, invoicing, and reconciling day-to-day activities.During the challenging times of the pandemic, I played a vital role in processing subsidies received from the government when we implemented reduced working hours for our employees (RHT). This involved meticulously navigating through the complex procedures and documentation required to ensure the club received the appropriate financial support. In addition to my accounting duties, I also take charge of the club's HR operations. This encompassed a wide range of responsibilities, including managing the payroll system, administering employment contracts, and issuing necessary certificates for the employees. I ensure the smooth functioning of the club's human resources by addressing various employee needs, such as benefits administration, and resolving any HR-related queries or concerns. Show less

During my linguistic internship at the Golf Club de Payerne, I had the opportunity to carry out various tasks that enabled me to integrate perfectly with the team and members. I started by helping out at reception and while learning French, I took on the challenge of answering phone calls.During those times, I familiarize myself with WinBiz, PC Caddie and iKentoo which are some of the biggest softwares for accounting, golf and restaurant respectively. I also organized the club's archives and storing files to make it easier to find information when needed.I was also happy to contribute some ideas to the advertisement side, using my creativity to design public materials to attract guests to various events. In addition to administrative tasks, I had the opportunity to gain practical experience in the hospitality industry. I worked with the restaurant team during big events, serving coffees and preparing drinks at the bar. Overall, my experience as a language trainee at the Payerne Golf Club enabled me to take on a wide range of responsibilities and learn about different aspects of the club's activities. Show less

I was mainly responsible for accounts receivable management. This involved keeping a detailed watch on unpaid invoices and bookings relating to the company's room rentals. Most notably, I carried out financial reconciliations between online bookings and payments collected from guests. I ensured that the financial amounts corresponded, and pinpoint any discrepancies. I had the opportunity to work with medium-sized companies and gain first-hand experience of value-added tax (VAT). As part of the team, I was involved in assessing and verifying the VAT compliance of these companies. More specifically, the audit involved checking sales and purchase declarations to identify discrepancies. Working in the Assessment department enabled me to develop a solid understanding of the legal and regulatory frameworks surrounding VAT. I subsequently acquired a practical knowledge of tax legislation, regulations and procedures. Show less
