  Fundraising and project management for new Galleries at Norwich Castle 2006-10 – Natural History Galleries, Prison Stories Gallery, Royal Norfolk Regimental Museum – and re-display of Strangers’ Hall Museum in 2007. Compiled successful £1 million Heritage Lottery Fund bid towards £1.5m transformation of the Bridewell Museum in Norwich. Raised and delivered £82,000 2010-11 multi-strand research and development project to re-vision the displays in Norwich's Castle Keep. Co-organised a prestigious reception in February 2011 at the British Museum, with Neil McGregor and Michael Wood as speakers, as profile-raiser for Norwich Castle.2011-13 project managed £185,000 Norwich Castle Keep display project incorporating major new display of items from the British Museum. Organised and promoted major museum public events, including Museums at Night, RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch weekend at Norwich Castle, and 2011 medieval Castlefest event. Show less

  Worked with Department for Culture, Media and Sport to establish a Designation Scheme in England for museums with outstanding collections. Set up the criteria and assessment process, assessed applications and serviced the Committee which decided on Designation.Established and administered a £15 million Designation Challenge Fund for museums with Designated collections, the first ever Government fund for regional museums. Assessed applications, serviced the decision-making Committee, and project managed the distribution of funds to over 50 projects. Show less
