I worked with Kevin on the Basrah Gas Company (BGC) EPS Contract. The contract scope was gathering flared gas and developing greater processing capacity for increasing volumes of gas and Natural Gas Liquids (NGL’s) via rehabilitation of existing facilities at the North Rumaila and Khor Al Zubair NGL Plants (NR NGL and KAZ) and some via new developments, with the ultimate aim of reaching 2 BScfd gas productions. The contract was challenging as consisted from over 200 work scopes with some running simultaneously and some with short time notice. Kevin helped the team with ensuring that work scopes were delivered as efficiently as possible by removing any blockers encountered and setting realistic goals and forecast targets accurately. During the process of delivering the work scopes thanks to Kevin’s efforts the team learned best industry best practices and implement these techniques where possible to ensure deliveries were cost efficient for the Client. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Kevin and felt his technical and moral support all the way through. .

Kevin joined the team to take over from an outgoing EM at a time when our performance was improving but fair from excellent. Delivering one of the largest contracts in the region, in the deep brownfield area with a team growing to more than 900, across 5 office locations globally takes real skill as the EM. Delivering Engineering and Procurement to support Total Installed Capital delivery in the last year of USD$1.2B is a very large undertaking.
