Programme Manager

Jan 2023 - Aug 2023
Worked as a Programme Manager, to assist innovators in the North East North Cumbria area, with developing their innovations to make them market-ready, and introduced to the NHS. My main duties were primarily facilitating the innovator's journey through our innovation pathway, and specialising in commercialisation of such innovations. Everyday duties included hosting workshops, networking with prospective innovators, managing project deadlines and facilitating conversations with execs to discover their needs, so we could tailor our offer of support. Project Officer
-
Sep 2021 - Jan 2023
Promoted from Project Officer to work as part of a team to establish a Project Management Office within Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals Foundation Trust. With the supervision of our Director and Project Management Consultant, our team helped establish the PMO, through the creation of governance and reporting tools. These tools were successful, as evidence by their utilisation on our first project where we managed the build of a new Day Treatment Centre (DTC) at the Freeman Hospital. The DTC was a huge collaborative effort from a multiplicity of disciplines and teams, and our role was to bring these MDT's together, collaborate, and plan to ensure a timely, in-budget opening of the facility, which we completed.Following this, we were then tasked with the management of the Trust's Cost Improvement Programme (CIP), which has become an annual, rolling task for the PMO. Support Officer
-
Dec 2020 - Sep 2021
Hired as a Support Officer to help the country's strategy to tackle the Coronavirus pandemic.During this time, I established a COVID testing programme for people experiencing homelessness in the North East of England. The testing project was a huge success, and was implemented across several agencies who support the homeless. The project was designed to remove barriers that people experiencing homelessness were faced with, when attending a testing centre. As they would not have an address, or potentially any identification. The testing programme received nationwide news coverage and was featured in NHS marketing product. Show less
