App Development Intern
-
May 2016 - May 2017
While publishing 40+ branded apps in the time frame of two months, I filled many roles at Legit Apps. I gained experience in account management, quality assurance, graphic design, scrum project management, communicating and tracking project progress with tools like Slack and Trello, publishing apps to the Google Play and App Store, and data entry (which lead to extensive experience in Excel). I also work closely with the company’s executives, so I have had the opportunity to observe their decision making processes while running this successful, growing startup. I am now making improvements and performing maintenance on their Rails dashboard application which includes designing more intuitive and informative views, and populating those views with relevant data through precise SQL queries.OMG, I just revisited this like 4 years after I initially wrote this and wowza did I have a lot to say back then. Sorry for being so wordy in describing my internship here, lol. You're a trooper for reading. Show less
