  The Managing Partner function is difficult to describe, as we have grown from a small law firm to one with over 60 lawyers and other professionals following Malta's accession to the European Union. The function can be best describe as a point of reference to things which happen within the firm – the design of operating structures to deal with administrative challenges in respect of which tasks are then delegated, to the design of strategic thinking in respect of which open discussions are carried out. The function entails the management of the firm through guiding the partners and managers in their day to day duties, with 40% of the time still being spent on legal work, mainly trusts, aviation and generally financial services.
