I engaged Nonprofit Executive customers through targeted programming in order to accelerate the adoption of cloud computing. Programming included live virtual events, executive roundtable discussions, executive receptions, and individual meetings with AWS sales leadership. I worked closely with account teams to provide appropriate resources for customers from across Amazon. I collaborated with colleagues across business units to ensure customers received the best possible service for their particular use case. I used qualitative and quantitative data to identify customers to be included in programmatic offerings based on their current status in the sales cycle. I created and hosted internal education sessions for account executives to help them create high quality briefing documents for meetings between executive customers and AWS sales leaders up to the VP level. I was responsible for the coordination of facilities and operations related activities in offices located in three cities across the US. I served as the point of contact and internal project manager for Northern Ventures efforts to build out leased office spaces totaling 38,000 square feet. Through this effort, I worked with a variety of contractors and consultants through all aspects of the design and construction process. As part of the business operations team, I provided supervision and leadership to the office management staff to ensure efficiency and operational excellence across all Northpond Ventures locations. I interfaced with a variety of stakeholders within the organization to understand business requirements and translate them into executable actions. I worked with vendors and contractors to bring the best prices and service to Northpond Ventures through the negotiations of contracts. I was responsible for the direction and oversight of all branded programs offered by RMHCDC, including the Ronald McDonald Houses, RM CareMobiles and RM Family Rooms. I worked to implement operational efficiencies to ensure all programs ran smoothly and in compliance with all RMHC policies. Working closely with the CEO and Board of Directors, I was responsible for the overall success of the programs and moved them forward toward achieving RMHCDC’s mission. Along with other members of the leadership team, I worked to set the strategic plan for the charity and created operational plans that achieved those strategic goals when executed. I coached and encouraged a team of 5 direct reports to meet stated metrics that allowed them to better serve the families in our care. I was responsible for budget creation and adherence for all RMHCDC programs. I was directly responsible for the administration and oversight of the Ronald McDonald House program for the Greater Washington DC chapter of Ronald McDonald House Charities. I provide leadership and vision for the chapter’s two Ronald McDonald Houses to ensure the success of the program. With a team of 4 full time professionals, I worked to ensure efficient and fiscally responsible operations to serve families in need of overnight lodging during their child’s medical care. As a member of the leadership team, I worked collaboratively across departments and with the Board of Directors to move the program forward toward fulling the organization’s mission. I was responsible for Ronald McDonald House program budget creation and management totaling $800,000 annually (accounting for 25% of the overall charity budget). I worked directly with the Chief Operations Officer to ensure efficient daily operations of the 4000 member parish in the areas of facilities management, information technology, physical security, audio/visual management, front office management, housekeeping and event management. I led a team of 4 full time housekeepers, 1 full time receptionist and 2 part time A/V staff members to ensure smooth daily operations across the parish’s activities. During the course of my tenure, I was part of several renovation projects that upgraded aging mechanical systems and building structures. I was part of a team who co-managed a 1500 bed college residential community with direct responsibility for 400 students. I supervised a team of student staff members in order to provide a positive educational environment by creating dynamic programming that addressed the current needs of students. I addressed student behavioral issues by serving in an on-call rotation and facilitating judicial hearings for student conduct violations. I shared responsibility for a variety of facility management processes including front desk operations, maintenance and housekeeping amongst others. I was selected to be the Residence Life liaison for the $75 million Northeast Sector Development where I attended construction coordination meetings, provided input into purchasing, and communicated the project development to students and staff members. I provided guidance as it related to staffing and space usage prior to opening. I was instrumental in the successful opening the 1032 bed facility after construction completion. Show less
