I manage and lead a wonderful team of over 20 highly motivated and skilled engineers who develop and support factory automation solutions.My team works in areas ranging from electronic product design and development, to supporting local technical teams and managing technical knowledge across the global organisation.We work with products and technologies that enable our customers to fully implement Industry 4.0 and IIoT. Serial interface units (OPC UA, MQTT, IO-LINK, PROFIsafe, EtherCAT, Wireless, etc.), electric actuators, motion, pressure and flow sensors and ionisers are some of our key products.The product support and development teams complement each other. While some provide in-depth experience and knowledge of products, applications and customer expectations, others provide the expertise required to develop embedded software, electronic hardware, PCBs and EMC testing.Finding synergies both within ETC and between European subsidiaries and overseas technical centres is a key part of our success.
