Amir's commitment to learning, punctuality, curiosity & attitude towards work are excellent. A highly analytical person who strives to understand as much as possible about tech, processes & his working environment would make him a great asset to an organization in the tech world.

Amir did his master thesis through Uppsala School of Entrepreneurship for me in Graphmatech AB, where I was the CFO and head of strategy. He is certainly one of the most ambitious and analytical students I ever met and he always came with out of the box questions that made you think one step more. He was also very appreciated as a team member. The thesis got the highest grade.

I contributed to open-source projects:- Theseus OS (Rust-based operating system)- Tokio (async library for Rust)- Lapce (Rust-based IDE)- Meilisearch (Rust-based search engine that lets you see results as you write)- Rustfmt (tool that automatically formats your Rust code)I alternated this with studies of computer science that specifically targets knowledge gaps identified in the practical work.I also used Flutter to create the front end for an unpublished mobile application (but canceled when I realized it already exists on the market). - I learned intermediate-level React and deepened my knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript and combined all of these to create an app that helps you memorize stuff more easily (https://github.com/amab8901/memorize-stuff) - I learned intro-level C++ and PostgreSQL by studying comprehensive online courses and solving simple programming tasks. - I created a 3D model of a building in FreeCAD (https://github.com/amab8901/FreeCAD_Project). - I created a commercial website using Django/Python/CSS/HTML (https://github.com/amab8901/commercial). It's partially integrated with Stripe payment system via Bash. - I solved many programming challenges on codesignal.com and exercism.com to get practical skills in Rust programming. Show less

I worked as a meeting booker. 2-3 bookings per week was considered to be good performance for a beginner. Once I learned the process, I managed to book 2 meetings in 1 day. I learned how Salesforce (CRM tool) works; how to identify the right people to contact in target company; how to acquire prospect's phone number; what to say to prospect in which order, and how, and why; objection handling; how to mirror prospect's energy level; how to adapt conversation to the amount of time they have available; how to qualify the prospect and sell the value of the meeting to them; etc. Show less

I cold-called random elderly people B2C and sold identity protection service to them. I got experience interacting with a variety of people and learned the basics of sales. This also helped me remove social anxiety and fear of contacting strangers, and develop boldness and emotional resilience towards criticism. Part-time job while I was studying. I helped gymnasium pupils to study more efficiently by coaching them into using similar strategies as the ones I used, when I was in their age, to get the highest grades in my class. I also gave them motivation to study by explaining why the content is valuable and useful. Part-time job while I was studying. I helped Graphmatech discover and filter 1000+ potential B2B customers that match the desired characteristics that my supervisor specified. I and my team contacted them and interviewed them to get a better understanding of what Graphmatech needs to do to match the needs of all these companies. We also collected advice/experience that the other companies shared with us. All of these things laid the foundation for Graphmatech's future business decisions and contributed to Graphmatech's ability to present tangible data to persuade investors into investing large amounts of money (tens of millions of SEK) into this startup company. On the engineering side, I used lab experiments to discover the optimal graphene concentration to mix with iron powder to achieve highest flowability. This makes it easier for the manufacturers of iron and steel products to produce higher quality iron/steel, through powder metallurgy, with fewer defects and doing so more smoothly (and thus faster/cheaper). I increased the lifespan of a steel tube used in mining machines, by designing four different industrial processes that generate beneficial residual stress on the inner surface of the steel tube.
