During my time at the Zuse Institute I had a chance to help with development of Amira, a software package for visualization, analysis and processing of 3D data. My tasks were: - optimization of an algorithm for efficient denoising of CT-scans - bug fixing and improvement of different image processing filters, implemented using CUDA and OpenCl - automatization of installation and configuration of Jenkins system for continuous integration on an internal cloud platform During my time at the Zuse Institute I had a chance to help with development of Amira, a software package for visualization, analysis and processing of 3D data. My work duties covered the following areas: - firmware development for a customized embedded Linux system - configuration and testing of MEMS sensors(micro accelerometers, gyroscopes and magnetometers) and analysis and quality control of measured sensor data - development of a motion-tracking software in combination with a commercial motion-tracking system, thus enabling precise reconstruction of the movement of a 3D rigid body - development of a procedure for synchronization of different measuring systems(e.g sensors and motion-tracking) Show less
