Łukasz was working in Astri Polska in UV2VIS Optical Ground Support Equipment project (related with European Space Agency Sentinel 5 mission in Copernicus Program) in the team managed by me between September 2019 and July 2020 as a Software Developer. He implemented to the duties in the project and very quickly achieved self – reliance during his work (among others, thanks to his strong code analysis skills). His responsibilities involved: implementation of opto – mechatronical measurements, image (raw and wavelet) processing algorithms development, data processing and visualization algorithms development, function resampling, implementation of mechatronic geometrical computations, rewriting Matlab scripts from client to C language, GUI creation, ini files handling, bugs and memory leaks fixes, creation of documentation in English. During his work he was using among others C language in labwindows environment Matlab/Octave, and gitlab. In February 2020 he took part in business trip to our client in Paris. During this period he was working in the clean-room laboratory and he was performing SW tests of the system. In summary his big knowledge in image and data processing development, and simultaneously programming skills as experienced software developer were big asset to the project. He is hardworking and well organized individual and good team player. He is friendly and willingly gave advice to other employees. He was performing assigned tasks quickly and precisely. The communication with him was in very high level. His knowledge of English language allowed him to contact with client and help him during documentation preparation. I highly recommend cooperation with him.
