  SIM-EXT is a package for simulating pixel images for ground-based imaging surveys spanning the segments of the Euclid Wide Survey footprint.As the leader of SIM_EXT I am responsible for the organisation of the resources and tasks to be performed. • Correction of I/O read memory issue using profiling tools. • Perform DM (data model) migrations. • Update survey tables and instrument files to fulfil the requirements. • Produce the sim_request files and PPOs (Pipeline Processing Order). • Production of Cycle 18, Cycle 19 and PV-008 simulations. • Image analysis after the production to compare results between surveys. • Development of new features. • Write oficial documentation to keep the information updated. • Review code written by other developers in SIM_EXT and SIM_EXT_Validator (CI/CD). • Perform unit tests to increase code robustness.
