An efficiency-minded non-profit dedicated to the global emancipation of slaves and abolition of Mauritanian slavery. The price of an African slave has fallen 99.7% since antebellum. Over 45 million are enslaved globally and approximately 20% of Mauritanians are in bondage. Paraphrasing Harriet Tubman, slaves grow "as neglected weed, – ignorant of liberty, having no experience of it." Only through emancipation can slaves experience liberty. For anyone to be truly free, no one may remain enslaved.
