Overview

ZCT H2 s.r.l. is the result of 30 years of studies and tests on industrial plants treating special waste and chemical materials which led the process to be patented in 2005 and applied on an industrial plant in Lugano (CH) in 2010. Several patents will be presented in 2021-2022. Essentially the innovative Zero Carbon Technologies are exploited in two plants: Carboenergy and Zerosmoke Plant. Both plants are designed in a closed-loop system, with real zero impact on the environment. Carboenergy is capable to use unsorted and special waste to produce dry Synthetic Coal with higher PCI (around 2,1-2,5 MJ/kg) than the standard CSS, called CSS-SC. Zerosmoke is the core of ZCT H2, able to produce elevate temperature heat (around 1.100ยฐ C - 1.400ยฐ C) from renewable and non-renewable sources through a melting furnace in a closed-loop system capable to recycle all smokes, ashes, and slags. The only system output is basalt which can be used in the B&C industry to produce cement and asphalt. The heat produced by Zerosmoke can be exploited as input to generate green electric energy and/or hydrogen. Merging both plants we can treat unsorted and special waste to create CSS-SC which is exploited as fuel in the Zerosmoke plant to produce elevate temperature heat which is used to generate green energy and finally green hydrogen.
