Youth Artists Unite was created to provide young, talented performers with the opportunity to take the stage from the comfort of their homes. Performers of all walks are welcome to perform on our platform. Performing arts has been inextricably linked to improving social cohesion and civic engagement while helping people triumph over differences. With its endless forms, the arts can help people express their values while also helping them get through difficult times; the healing benefit of the arts results in shorter hospital stays, better pain management, and recuperation with trauma and miscellaneous injuries. Engaging with art is essential: it challenges us with various points of view, compels us to empathize with others, and gives us the opportunity to reflect on ourselves. Youth Artists Unite offers several programs for performers to engage in: live performances, spotlight submissions, workshops, platform takeovers, and more. To date, our programs have accumulated over 50,000 views and 125,000 impressions across several social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. The goal of our organization is to cultivate and nurture youth artists to help them pursue their passions. Amidst barriers in every direction, we hope to give each artist a performance with an encouraging audience. Youth Artists Unite advances the movement for the arts by inspiring young artists to continue pursuing their diverse interests without any restrictions. We hope that everyone, regardless of circumstances, can come together under the arts to support our aspiring performers. Through YAU, we can further the movement for performing arts that is relevant for our next generation. We can fight these problems, teach each other, and understand our distinct cultures to create a supportive community.
