Overview

Young THAC (“YTHAC”) is a group to empower young practitioners, business professionals, professors, students, and members of the community under the age of 45 with interest in the field of arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”). YTHAC provides a unique platform to bring together innovative ideas and thoughtful contributions to the development of arbitration and ADR in Thailand, the region and internationally through subjects which are of interest to young practitioners. THAC has the following main objectives: To provide a forum to exchange ideas and experiences in practicing and researching arbitration and ADR and to benefit from the experience of more senior practitioners. - To broaden members’ networks within the ADR community in Thailand and beyond. - To increase awareness about ADR, to promote the use of arbitration and ADR and to educate the legal communities, corporations and the public on the advantages of arbitration and ADR, as well as domestic and international developments and topical issues in arbitration. - To collaborate with other domestic and international arbitration communities through various channels including workshops and trainings, symposia, seminars, conferences, networking events, and interviews with distinguished practitioners, mediators and arbitrators.
