The Young Missionary Alliance (YMA) is a faith-based organization that serves as a missional platform for young professionals who are filled with the passion for evangelizing and providing practical assistance directed towards community building. We aim to recruit, train, equip and commission young people in order to see God's love manifested in communities we work with. Our Vision: To see the manifestation of God’s love in PNG Communities Our Mission: Our Mission is to disciple and train young professionals to be missionaries, social justice champions and community builders. Our Values: ✅ Missio Dei: "Missio Dei" is translated to as "Missions of God" reflects us asa faith-based organization. We aspire to know God and tomake him known. This gives YMA it's missional identity. ✅ Community: We fully recognize the eternal fellowship of the Triune Godand we aspire to see this manifested in the organization andthe communities that we work with. ✅ Intellectual & Professional Integrity: We recognize that God has graced us to work within the professional and academic spaces and we strive to use our academic skills,qualifications and professionalism to serve God. ✅ Stewardship: We believe in stewarding our gifts, talents, education andresources and directing that into Missio dei Our Objectives: ☑️ To recruit, train and commission students and young professionals to do God’s mission. ☑️To build the capacity of our members through our programs. ☑️ To form partnerships with Christian churches, the private sector and the government in a collaborative effort to provide practical assistance in the communities of Papua New Guinea. ☑️ To provide Christian pastoral care for the purpose of spiritual growth and development. ☑️ To encourage community empowerment through capacity building, personal integration and social welfare.
