The Kazembe Foundation was created to contribute to the transformation, inspiration and positive development of people everywhere. Our goal is to encourage individuals to have self-belief and assist them with opportunities that will allow them to take on an empowered role in their lives and in their communities. We seek to be part of a synergy by including other organizations and individuals who can help provide opportunities for women and men by creating a spirit of positive change. We strongly believe we can play an important part in the development of people through our strategic mentoring, community development and sponsorship programs as part of our overall philanthropic platform. The Kazembe Foundation was rebranded in 2021 to include a mental health initiative. Close to the heart of Annika Kazembe, the initiative’s main aim is supporting families of incarcerated youths suffering with mental health challenges and helping them to better understand the mentah health system and its relationship to the legal system.
