COMPANY HISTORY XenonDepot, a division of The Retrofit Source, was started by a Canadian automotive enthusiast looking to upgrade his vehicle's lighting with Xenon Technology. The first XenonDepot HID Kit utilized OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Philips® LVQ212 ballasts and Philips® D2S 85122 HID bulbs that were modified to work in aftermarket applications.
